Summer went by both quickly and slowly this year. A pandemic can do that to a season. Still, it didn’t stop me from enjoying summer fashion.
I worked with three brands this summer: My Sister’s Closet Boutique, HalfTee, Undercover Unicorn Shop, and Sweet Salt Clothing. Here are my favorite looks from the summer.
Comfy, Summer Pants
First, I wore the comfiest of summer pants from My Sister’s Closet. They were a perfect neutral that allowed me to take a break from shorts without overheating. I paired them with a white tee for the shoot and frequently wore a band tee and sneaked. I accessorized this outfit with a silk scarf from Sweet Salt.

Matching Set
Second, I rocked many matching sets (I committed to bike shorts this summer). My very favorite (and most versatile) set came from My Sister’s Closet. I mixed and matched both pieces with others from my closet. They’re the ultimate staple pieces. My star earrings are from the Undercover Unicorn Shop. They’re lightweight, and I’m obsessed. They looked so cute on the Fourth of July.
Sweet Salt Clothing Kimono and My Sister’s Closet Jeans & Tee
Third, I kept rocking that top from the set I mentioned and paired it with a gorgeous kimono from Sweet Salt Clothing and KanCan Oslo jeans (from My Sister’s Closet). My Sister’s Closet sells the most unique, stunning pieces. I had a blast combing their site because they sell individual items that will make you want to spend your entire paycheck.
Sweet Salt Clothing Floral Wrap Dress with a HalfTee Sliptee
Fourth, I wore a floral wrap dress from Sweet Salt. I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress. It’s made from cotton, so it’s super comfy, but flows with me as I move. The pattern is a mid-size print and will easily transition into fall with a cardigan. The fringe earrings are from Undercover Unicorn Shop.
Sweet Salt Clothing Shirt Dress with a HalfTee Sliptee
Fifth, I was in full mom mode, wearing a shirt dress from Sweet Salt. I’ve never had such a response to a dress like I did with this dress. I had five direct messages about this dress within an hour of posting it. I love how easy it is to dress up or down.
With both Sweet Salt dresses, I wore a SlipTee, which is basically a HalfTee (a layering top) attached to a skirt-like slip to form a dress-shaped slip. It allowed me to move and not worry about showing my underwear, which is a genuine concern when you’re chasing kids in a dress.
HalfTee
Finally, I wore a HalfTee with a $20 jumper from Amazon. Both comfy. Both easy. I looked trendy while adding two staples to my wardrobe. The HalfTee doesn’t bunch up underneath my jumper as a regular tee would. It was a total win. The code “EVI20” gets you 20% off of your order. I accessorized my hair with a silk scarf from Sweet Salt.
